DITTO! Best *few* dollars I have spent.

What I like is that they are teaching me to fish, and not simply tossing me a trout every so often.

If you have any questions, as for anyone else just shoot me a PM.

Best of luck and glad you stumbled across this thread as well, it is a great thing(to say the least)

Plan on a few months of simply consuming the mass of knowledge. Lots and lots of good stuff there.

mqb11b (or what ever it is!) is one of the finest traders you will run into and is very active on the PF.

See you in the PF!

I have to say that I am extremely happy with the fact that those who are members of the PF can respond with such enthusiasm regarding ongoing support you continue to receive from those at the PF.

I have seen it happen all to often how things get started and the 6 months or a year later they fall off to the way side and eventually become and after thought.

That is clearly not the case with the PF. If a site can withstand a 1 year turnaround then the chances of long term staying power are extremely good.

I can't wait to get started studying and interacting with you folks on the inside.

Thanks again and see you on the other side of the door.

Sincerely,
Steve

Cherry picking your post - and how true these two sentences are. I find that it does take some time to internalize things that you read about here from the postings of a few *really good* traders. It all seems to make sense, but until you learn to live it, they are just words.

Practice, practice. Listen and learn. Ask questions. And go back and apply it and it becomes a part of you. Then, once you are comfortable - teach it to someone else.

Maybe. This is the third recent test of a Support, so buyer (seller in this case) beware. Personally, I'd like to see it finish cleanly below 120.75 first. I also like to see the close of the BEOB be lower on the bar. The support is at the confluence of the 38% fib measured from the 3/6/07 swing low. That is a strong thing to break.

But that is just lil ol me. You never know.... maybe it breaks! Playing the odds - Seems like a gamble.

Lets watch and see....

Default USDJPY Update for Tiki

How about an update?

It came all the way down to the fib/support confluence - formed a Pin Bar on the 4 hr chart and it headed up.

Can't call it prognostication, and the day is not yet over (it is only 9:30AM EST and the NY session is just firing up), but when we see things like this standing in the way of price movement, it sure helps us out. It could have been a winner with the right TP. It is all about the odds, and odds are, that a recently tested support will provide support - yet again. The breakout is where we can make money too.

Ultimately, I would like to see it break cleanly through. You could place a Sell Stop on the other side of the confluence and hitch a ride. A safer play is to wait for the confirming price action to play out and then jump in.
